At Beavers Money ("we", "our", "us"), we are committed to protecting your privacy and keeping your data secure. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, the limited circumstances in which we may disclose it, and the choices you have. By using Beavers Money, you agree to the practices described below.

1. Information We Collect

1.1 Gmail™ Data

Our service requires access to your Gmail™ messages to identify and extract financial information from receipts and invoices. This access is read-only and limited to the purpose of providing our service.

1.2 Google Sheets™ Access

We require permission to access and modify the specific Google Sheet™(s) that you designate for storing your financial data extracted from emails.

1.3 Usage Data

We collect information on how you interact with our service, including access times, pages viewed, and the features you use. This helps us improve our service and troubleshoot issues.

1.4 Basic Google Profile Information

Your Google account ID and primary email address, used solely for licensing, providing support, and sending service‑related notices.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect for various purposes, including:

• To provide and maintain our service
• To identify and extract financial data from your emails
• To populate your Google Sheet™ with the extracted data
• To notify you about changes to our service
• To provide customer support
• To gather analysis or valuable information to improve our service
• To detect, prevent, and address technical issues

We never sell or lease your information for advertising, market‑research, or profiling purposes.

3. Where Your Data Is Stored & Processed

• All transactional data lives exclusively in your own Google Sheet.
• Email message content is processed in transit and discarded immediately after the required fields are extracted.
• No copy of your email content or extracted data is stored on our servers or transferred to any third‑party infrastructure.

4. Data Retention & Deletion

Because we do not persist the contents of your emails or extracted rows on our servers, we retain only minimal account metadata (your Google UID and license status). If you uninstall the add‑on or email us at support@beavers.money, we will delete this metadata within 5 business days.

5. Revoking Permissions

You are always in control of the OAuth scopes you grant. To review or remove Beavers Money's access:

1. Visit Google Account > Security > Third‑party apps with account access.
2. Select Beavers Money and click Remove access.

Removing access immediately stops all data processing.

6. Generative AI & Third‑Party APIs

If you opt‑in to enrich your transactions with AI summaries, the selected rows of data are sent as input prompts to Gemini API. We do not store this data. Your use of Gemini is subject to Gemini API Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.

We never use your Gmail content as training data for AI models, and we do not retain AI prompts or responses once written to your sheet. We do not use Google Workspace APIs to develop, improve, or train generalized AI or machine‑learning models.

7. Payments

Beavers Money currently offers a free tier. If you choose a paid plan, payment processing is handled by other third parties payment processor, such as Stripe and PayPal to bill you for services. We do not store, log, or have access to your full credit‑card details.

8. Security

• OAuth 2.0 is used for authentication, so you never share your Google credentials with us.
• All network traffic is encrypted via HTTPS.
• Access to production infrastructure is protected by multi‑factor authentication and least‑privilege access controls.

We follow Google's recommended best practices and periodically review our security posture.

9. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page and updating the "Last Updated" date. You are advised to review this Privacy Policy periodically for any changes.
